Junget strengthens its Scandinavian presence with a new subsidiary
High ambitions towards 2030
With this acquisition, Junget takes another step towards its ambition of becoming a strong Scandinavian player, creating added value for customers working with wood, plastics, stone, glass and metal. The expansion further strengthens Junget’s role as a total supplier, offering solutions that support customers throughout the entire value chain – from consulting and sales to installation and maintenance.
“We look forward to welcoming the skilled colleagues from Per Mordt to Team Junget and are excited about the collaboration – both professionally and personally,” says CEO Jan Weier.
A strong match – shared culture and customer focus
The acquisition is not only about product portfolio and strategy, but also about a natural cultural fit. Per Mordt and Junget share the same approach to customer service, professional expertise and long-term partnerships. Both companies are built on strong values and proud traditions of delivering professional solutions with a high level of technical expertise.
Christoffer Bjerke takes up the position as Managing Director and co-owner of Per Mordt AS, where he has been part of the company for the past three years.
“My colleagues and I look forward to the collaboration and the many synergies that will come from becoming part of Junget. This will clearly benefit our customers – and that is what matters most. We are excited about the next chapter. The local team remains unchanged, and the company name will continue as customers know it,” says Christoffer Bjerke.
Synergies and knowledge sharing across borders
With Per Mordt becoming part of Junget, new opportunities arise within stone and glass processing. Strong international brands such as Biesse and LiSEC will form a natural focal point in the future collaboration.
Customers in the stone and glass industries can look forward to, among other things:
-
A broader service network across Norway and Denmark
-
A more comprehensive product portfolio, including software and CAD/CAM solutions
-
Enhanced consulting and support throughout the entire machine lifecycle
An important chapter in Junget’s Scandinavian growth strategy
The acquisition of Per Mordt AS took effect on 1 January 2026. The company will continue under its own name, now as part of Junget. Organisationally, Per Mordt Denmark will act as the parent company for sales in Denmark and Sweden, while Per Mordt in Norway will continue as an independent subsidiary.
